You don’t want to miss out on National Taco Day! National Taco Day is coming up. This annual holiday celebrates tacos and is the perfect excuse to dine on this quick and easy food. Make sure to celebrate National Taco Day this October 4.
It is estimated that last year, Americans ate over 4.5 billion tacos. That’s a lot of tacos! A taco is the Mexican equivalent of a sandwich. The tortilla, or the shell of the taco, is made of either corn or wheat. This shell is wrapped or folded around fillings. Popular fillings include chicken, beef, pork, fish, and vegetables. However, tacos can feature tons of different ingredients. Some tacos are savory, while others are sweet. Make your own taco for a homemade variation, or visit your favorite taco joint like Coastal Kitchen for a creative spin on this classic food.
This year, National Taco Day falls on Thursday, October 4. Make your way to Coastal Kitchen to enjoy our special taco celebration on this day!
